I didn't realize that it had been so long since i'd written on my page...seems like it wasn't that long ago. First I guess I'll cap off my summer to all of you. It started off like anyother summer, boring, and well it stayed that way for the most part of the summer. The only interesting thing about the summer was the last few weeks when I was in marching band camp, because we got to meet all of the new freshman. Other than that I was in our schools production of Annie Jr. this summer, and once again got understudied....oh how I love Mrs. Kelly some times, but I'm not going to rant about that right now. I'll save that for the spring musical. Back on the subject of band camp...I met a few freshman boys that I thought were pretty cool, so I've been haning out with them a little. At one point I had a little crush on one of them, but when he sarted to like me and I realized how young he was and that it wasn't just an "eh this isn't even possible" crush, I ran straight for the door. I find that pretty humorous.
Now that I'm done with the break down of my summer, I'll start with the beginning of the school year. I've been back in school for about four weeks, and am proudly a Junior. As a little present I got my brothers old car, so I was driving that to school for the first two weeks......then my best friend rear ended me. It's not really turning out that well, but I'm dealing with it as best as I can. I should be getting my car back in two days now, but that's not really the problem, the insurance company it trying to find some fault in my actions...basically they want my monthly bill to increase too. It's been very...umm..not fun for the last two weeks having my mom drive me around, I can't wait to get my poor little car back, and what little freedom I have aswell.
Last night was our second football game, and we lost, so far our record is 1-1, so I have no clue where it's going. I really don't care how the football team does though, truthfully I'm only there for band, because the band has the most fun at the games....by far. I'm actually kind of sad that I can't go to tuesday practices though, because I love marching, and I don't want to fall behind, but there's not much I can do when I have lessons. I just hope that I can catch up as the season goes on, because I don't want to be the downer of my section.
Today wasn't very exciting, but it is the day that made me want to write here again....so it can't be all that bad. I actually got an email from somone today who had looked at the site and found some interest in me, and it made me think that maybe there's something special in this after all. Besides that I basically slept all day, puting off the things that I have to do, more like avoiding them. I have three peices to put together for theatre, two papers for english and more than I can emotionally handle to do within the rest of the month, so I'm burning out pretty quickly.
That's about the jist of today, but hopefully tomorrow will hold a different story. I'm supposed to be going over to Tonys house tomorrow, and we're going to start our poetry explication. We chose a poem that deals with people being passed over and made fun of, so it should work pretty good. Tony's also supposed to introduce me to his friend Brandon who he wants to set me up with, so it should be a very interesting day.
"How can I tell you who I am, when I don't even know the answer to that question?"
